The Woodsman Nourishing Shave Soap
Treat yourself to a luxuriously smooth shave with our handcrafted, small-batch shave soaps. Made with nourishing plant-based butters and oils, our vegan formula pampers your skin while delivering a close, comfortable shave. We use only natural ingredients, free of harsh chemicals and artificial fragrances, for a gentle experience that's perfect for even the most sensitive skin.
Our shave soaps create a rich, creamy lather that provides exceptional razor glide, helping to prevent nicks and irritation. Available in four of our classic scents blended from pure essential oils, these artisan shave soaps elevate your daily routine into a moment of self-care indulgence.
INGREDIENTS (in order of weight):
Coconut Oil, Stearic Acid, Shea Butter, Kokum Butter, Castor Oil, Potassium Hydroxide, Sodium Hydroxide, Essential Oil Blend (Orange, Clove Bud, Fir Needle, Cedarwood, Balsam), Vegetable Glycerine
USE AND CARE
- Prep the Brush (optional): If using a brush, soak it in warm water for a few minutes before shaving. This softens the bristles and helps create a better lather.
-
Lather the Soap: There are two ways to do this:
- With a Brush: Dip the wet brush in the soap and swirl it in a circular motion to pick up product. You can lather directly on your face or in a bowl with a little warm water. Swirl the brush until a thick, creamy lather forms.
- Without a Brush: Wet your hands and rub them directly on the soap to create a lather. You can also add a few drops of water to the soap to help create a lather.
- Apply the Lather: Apply the rich lather generously to your shaving area using circular motions. This helps lift the hairs and prepare them for shaving.
- Shave: Once your face is well-lathered, shave with smooth, gentle strokes in the direction of hair growth. Rinse your razor often to remove hair and maintain a smooth lather.
-
Care: There's no need to rinse your soap off after use, but do allow your brush to air dry between uses. Storing in the open air on a countertop, in a dish, or a draining surface in the shower will help your shave soap dry between uses for a longer-lasting product.
